The S.A.F.E.R. Horsemanship Facility Accreditation & Barn Compliance Program was created to help equestrian facilities build safer, more structured, and more confidence-driven environments for both horses and humans.
This program is not about policing barns or creating unrealistic standards.
It is about encouraging thoughtful horsemanship, safety awareness, professionalism, humane handling practices and consistent educational environments throughout the equine industry.

S.A.F.E.R. Accreditation is a voluntary facility recognition program designed to help barns, lesson programs, camps, equine-assisted programs, homeschool programs, and equestrian organizations strengthen:
