With more than 13 years of experience supporting and encouraging others to improve their lives, the equine assisted counseling services with Kristen Baurczarski can prove to be invaluable you. Ms. Baurczarski works with individuals and couples to unlock their full potential and overcome the obstacles blocking their personal success.
In conjunction with her equine co-facilitators, Ms. Baurczarski often utilizes Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as tools for her clients to facilitate change and personal development. She believes in the value that equines provide in developing emotionally and physically in her sessions with clients.
"Horses exist in the current moment and become reflections of us depending on how we are feeling and acting; without knowledge of our past and who we are. This creates an opportunity to develop trust with others as you learn to trust your equine partner." says Ms. Baurczarski.
During sessions clients practice non-verbal communication and verbal communication, when needed and appropriate. Encouraging clients to be present in the moment and allowing themselves to engage with the equines co-facilitators in this non-judgmental, holistic way promotes emotional growth and overall development for the client.
Ms. Baurczarski will evaluate a client's needs, create a treatment plan, and put the plan into action. Throughout the process, Ms. Baurczarski will provide clients with emotional support. Working closely with her client(s), Ms. Baurczarski will identify problems and create a plan to help the client solve those problems.
Ms. Baurczarski will guide you and your assigned equine partner in a variety of exercises that will help you evolve and grow as a person.
